Yesterday morning it was cold and drizzly in Footscray...perfect conditions for our first eight guys/gals to start their 4 week Beginners Course in Creative Blacksmithing. The morning saw the students learn how to light a coke fire and then bend and twist some red hot steel tween hammer and anvil. We were pleased with how all the new forges ran and Watersides unique height adjustable anvil stands gave each student a surface/horn that was purrfect for them to get creative. Looking forward to next week :)
